Requirements:

- Minimum Masters level education in related fields COMPLETED
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
- Have your own liability insurance
- Minimum 1 years of experience in counselling and psychotherapy
- Individual psychotherapy, couples therapy training and experince is an asset

Psychotherapy Essence is seeking an engaging and motivated Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or RP (Qualifying) who has completed DBT training through Psychwire to join our growing Vaughan practice.

Required Qualifications

- Registered with CRPO as an RP or RP (Qualifying)
- Completed DBT training through Psychwire
- Strong therapeutic engagement and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable conducting consultations and building a consistent caseload
- Experience working with emotional dysregulation, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, self-esteem, and life transitions
- Able to provide both in-person and virtual psychotherapy
- Interested in developing a consistent caseload of approximately 10–15+ sessions per week
- Committed to a long-term position and to developing and maintaining a consistent caseload within the practice

Additional Assets

- Couples and/or family therapy training and experience
- Experience facilitating DBT skills groups
- Additional language proficiency is highly valued, particularly Hebrew, French, Spanish, Russian, or other languages

Availability We currently have opportunities for 1–2 consistent in-person shifts per week in Vaughan, particularly:

- Thursday mornings
- Thursday evenings
- Fridays
- Additional evening availability

Additional virtual hours can be offered throughout the week as caseload develops.

CompensationSkills:





- Experience working with Jane App is preferable
- Ability to provide compassionate client care while maintaining professional boundaries
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team member.
- Psychotherapy Essence provides referrals, administrative support, furnished professional office space, virtual practice opportunities, and a collaborative clinical environment.
- Compensation

$100–$160 per session, depending on registration status, experience, training, and session type/length.
