Enhance community well-being as a Relief Program Worker with LAMP Community Health Centre. This casual position focuses on adult drop-in support, meal preparation, and fostering inclusivity within a welcoming environment. As part of the Drop-In team, you will work under the Program Manager's supervision, delivering essential services to adults facing homelessness and social isolation.
Key tasks include meal planning and service, crisis response, and maintaining program spaces. You'll engage collaboratively with staff and participants, ensuring a supportive atmosphere through dedicated support and referrals. Key Responsibilities:
- Support meal planning and preparation for up to 75 individuals
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of program spaces
- Welcome and orient current participants
- Respond effectively to crisis situations
- Facilitate activities to promote social connection Requirements:
- Experience in crisis intervention and harm reduction
- Skills in meal preparation and food safety
- Ability to engage with vulnerable populations
- Proficient in data entry and record-keeping
