Plus, you will get the added benefit of further developing your skill set through working with a wide variety of clients and robust list of industries.ResponsibilitiesIndependent completion of audit, review and compilation files and related tax preparationPreparing complex areas of the filePreparing personal tax returnsPreparing corporate tax returns and appropriate tax checklistsCompleting and overseeing others’ work on filesCoaching Junior and Intermediate accountants by providing input and expertise where necessaryBuilding effective and long lasting working relationships on assignments with operational client contactsReviewing the accuracy of work completed by Junior and Intermediate team membersResponding effectively and efficiently to client, manager and partner requestsSummary of ResponsibilitiesPlanning, execution and completion of filesUnderstanding technical standards with the expected level of assistance and supervisionBuilding effective working client relationships on assignments with operational client contactsManaging allocated projects or assignments, including time managementResponding effectively to client, manager and partner requests and suggestions relating to an assignmentSupervising and training junior and intermediate staffMaintaining technical knowledge – IFRS, ASPE, CAS – by:



attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and establishing personal networksContributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededSummary of Experience4+ years of public accounting experience with demonstrated experience in audit and taxRequirementsPossessing leadership qualities and ability to support team members and goalsStrong commitment to quality and accuracyCompletion of a University Accounting degree and completion of CPA designation or at least substantial progress theretoDevelopment of a business advisor mindset is importantThorough knowledge and experience working with ASPE, IFRS and CAS to be able to complete complex areas of an engagementExperience with ASPE required, IFRS an assetExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate well with clients, managers and partnersPossessing strong project management skills and organization, with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneouslyProficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Caseware, Jazz-it, Tax Prep, QuickBooks and Simply AccountingJob Vacancy Status: Existing VacancyHours of Work: 35 hours per week; the role requiresovertime as necessary to meet operational and professional requirements.Location: 201 Bridgeland Ave, North York, HybridCompensation placement will be based on depth of experience, demonstrated skill set, and alignment with the responsibilities of the role.Outstanding Ideas.
