The Role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join BridgePark Counsel and take ownership of a broad administrative and transactional support portfolio.

This is a hybrid role based in the GTA.

You will support a wide range of corporate and transactional matters, including:

• Acting as a key point of contact for client communications and internal coordination, managing the flow of work with professionalism and good judgment
• Opening current client matters and managing related administrative processes, including file management and billing coordination
• Drafting and finalizing legal documents, correspondence, and ancillary closing materials
• Assisting with transactions and closings, including tracking deliverables, coordinating signatures, and supporting the preparation of closing materials
• Liaising with clients, counterparties, and other internal and external parties with professionalism and responsiveness
• Managing calendars, deadlines,
  
  
  
  and scheduling across various active matters
• Preparing marketing materials and supporting business development initiatives
• Coordinating administrative and accounting functions
• Leveraging technology to support legal professionals and clients efficiently and effectively

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of five years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, ideally in a corporate or commercial law environment
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to draft correspondence and documents with care and precision
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with legal technology and document management systems
• Sound professional judgment and a client-first orientation
• The ability to work independently, take initiative, and see tasks through to completion
• A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the interpersonal skills to work effectively with lawyers, clients, and external parties
