Role Purpose The Line Service position supports production in ensuring that all lines have all materials required to successfully follow and fulfill the production schedule.

Role Purpose The Line Service position supports production in ensuring that all lines have all materials required to successfully follow and fulfill the production schedule.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Verifies all materials pulled by the warehouse to ensure part numbers and quantities, this would include the lock code

Signs route sheet at shift start which verifies that materials are correct for production

Responsible for all materials being issued to the designated line

Responsible to make correct number of shippers for the job with proper information being transferred





Checks the route sheet for special instructions of documentation for shippers, such as special labels to be printed rather than stamping

Responsible for servicing the lines with raw materials for production runs

Provides skids and layer cards for lines

Ensures that the line has a steady supply of caps, bottles, labels and shippers

Ensures that tote batch matches shippers and bottles

Removes all empty totes to wash out area or other area if specified

Transfers full skid from production to warehouse with the transfer sheet and wrapped

Makes sure the transfer sheet is signed off by warehouse upon receiving and the original copy is returned and stapled to the route sheet

Responsible to return all raw materials to warehouse upon completion of job

Responsible for emptying garbage bins throughout shift and at the end of shift

Qualifications and Experience

Secondary High School diploma

1-3 years of experience in a related field is an asset

Experience with walkies and forklifts preferred

Able to read, write, and follow instructions

Able to adapt to a quick-paced manufacturing environment

Ability to work in a team setting as well as individually
