As a Community Outreach Worker at Kinsight, you will work one-on-one with clients, facilitating their growth, skill-building, and community outreach. By helping with public transport, household management, and relationship building, you will play a critical role in the support system for families in New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore, and Belcarra.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one outreach support to individuals • Assist clients with transportation and financial management • Facilitate community connections and relationship growth • Engage in skill development and support planning • Work flexible hours including evenings and holidays
Requirements: • Diploma in Human Services or Community Support Worker equivalent • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a vehicle • Current First Aid/CPR certification and Food Protected Certificate • Knowledge of Person-Centered Planning and positive support techniques • Experience supporting individuals with developmental needs
