We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Full-Time Receptionist to join our hearing clinic team.
This position combines reception and administrative duties with basic hearing aid care and patient assistance. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and provide friendly, professional service
Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments
Maintain patient files and confidential information
Process payments and receipts
Clean and maintain hearing aids
Change wax guards, domes, filters and other hearing aid parts
Clean earmolds and hearing aid accessories
Perform basic hearing aid troubleshooting after training
Assist patients with basic hearing aid care and maintenance
Prepare and send hearing aids for manufacturer repairs
Receive and organize repairs, supplies and accessories
Contact patients regarding appointments, repairs and follow-ups
Clean and disinfect equipment and work areas
Assist the Hearing Aid Practitioner with daily clinic duties
Perform general administrative duties
We are looking for someone who is:
Friendly, patient and comfortable working with seniors
Reliable, punctual and organized
Detail-oriented and comfortable working with small hearing aid parts
Confident communicating in person and over the phone
Comfortable with computers and learning new software
Able to multitask and work independently
Skilled and respectful of patient confidentiality
Previous reception, healthcare or customer service experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
