This full-time role involves close collaboration with Project Management and cross-functional teams. You will oversee supplier selection, negotiate contracts, and ensure materials meet project requirements within budget. Your expertise in logistics and compliance will support domestic and international procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prequalify and source recent suppliers and contractors • Negotiate contracts and maintain supplier relationships • Price and process purchase orders for project components • Track purchase order acknowledgments and update Project Managers • Analyze cost structures and pursue cost-reduction opportunities
Requirements: • Post-secondary education in Business or Supply Chain • 5+ years in purchasing or supply chain, preferably project-based • Strong procurement process understanding • Knowledge of subcontracting and compliance requirements • Preference for candidates with supply chain certifications
