SSMIC is seeking a motivated Marketing & Communications Research Intern to join our team. This internship presents an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience working in a fast‑paced and supportive environment. The Intern will work closely with all teams to assist with research, rebranding, and marketing and communication programs. Core Responsibilities
Conduct market research to support renaming and rebranding initiatives. Analyze existing assets and messaging to identify gaps and inconsistencies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, content, strategy) to ensure cohesive marketing andcommunications rollout. Conduct research on the use of AI in marketing and implementation of AI strategies to improve efficiencies.
Research and assist in planning internal and external communications including social media accounts. Assist with event planning including innovation awards to recognize innovation leaders in the region. Prepare research summaries, presentations, and reports. Required Skills
A university degree or college diploma in business, marketing or related field. Aptitude for accurate, highly detailed and analytical skills. Strong research skills. Solid understanding of marketing principles and social media campaigns. Ability to develop marketing assets using Canva and other applications. Ability to utilize the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Superior customer service skills, and professional attitude. Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills. Reliable, independent, and able to work flexible hours with minimal supervision or direction. Requirements
