Location Legacy Park Elementary School, located in the community of Weyburn, SK

Term Start Date: As soon as possible/As mutually agreed upon End Date: December 31, 2026 with possibility of extension

Tenure Temporary

Hours of Work Equivalent to8 hours per day, 40hours per week

Duties Duties are outlined in the attached job description.

Qualifications

Minimum Grade 10 education (Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred)

Valid Fireman's Certificate is an asset but not required

Valid Driver's License

Direct experience in the caretaking field would be considered an asset

Demonstrated understanding of cleaning procedures, cleaning processes, products and equipment is preferred

General mechanical/plumbing knowledge and aptitude

Must have the ability to operate tractors, mowers, and equipment efficiently and safely

Knowledge of computers and applicable software

Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System

Salary & Benefits Salary and advantages are in accordance with the currently negotiated SEIU-West Collective Agreement as listed on our website www.secpsd.ca. The starting wage for this position is currently $24.14/hour along with a full benefit package and an employer defined pension plan.
