In this full time role, you will administer Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instances while ensuring optimal performance and security. With at least seven years of experience, you will implement HA/DR solutions and manage database patching, upgrades, and migrations, while also focusing on database development with T-SQL and ETL processes using SSIS and ADF.
Key Responsibilities: • Administer Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL environments • Monitor performance, availability, and security of databases • Manage HA/DR solutions and backup/recovery processes • Troubleshoot production issues related to performance • Design and develop T-SQL objects and optimize queries
Requirements: • 7+ years as a SQL Server DBA and Developer • Proficiency in Azure SQL Mi and T-SQL programming • Experience with performance tuning and monitoring • Java and Spring Boot experience (2+ years) • Familiarity with REST APIs and CI/CD practices
