As a Youth Support Worker, you will utilize an outreach model to empower vulnerable youth at critical academic transition points. Your responsibilities will include developing youth-centered plans, facilitating workshops, and providing supportive counseling. This full time position requires flexibility, with occasional evening and weekend work to best serve the youth community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and verify participant eligibility information
• Develop Individual Action Plans with youth on caseload
• Facilitate workshops aligned with guidelines and mandates
• Perform case management as required
• Advocate with social workers and community professionals
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in relevant field
• 2+ years of experience working with diverse youth populations
• Valid First Aid and CPR-C certifications
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
