Support clients in North Bay with vital mental health and addiction services as a full time Clinical Therapist. Engage in assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions, contributing to community well-being.
The Community Counselling Centre of Nipissing is seeking a Clinical Therapist. In this full-time role, you will provide counseling support services to individuals, couples, youth, and families, focusing on mental health and addiction issues. You will collaborate with internal teams, apply trauma-informed practices, and contribute to community initiatives aimed at enhancing awareness and resources.
Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans • Deliver psychotherapy to individuals, couples,
and families • Facilitate group workshops and counseling sessions • Manage crisis situations with appropriate interventions • Advocate for clients and refer them to necessary resources
Requirements: • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, or related field • Registered with a relevant Ontario regulatory body • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience • Bilingualism (English/French) preferred • Valid Ontario driver's license and vehicle access
