We’re seeking a Shop Assistant to support our Service department and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a team.

What You’ll Do

- Assist technicians, apprentices, and other Service team members with day-to-day shop needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe automotive shop area
- Transport parts, supplies, materials, tools, and equipment throughout the shop and dealership
- Check and organize supplies, materials, hand tools, and power tools
- Assist with cleaning, painting, lubricating, repairing, and maintaining shop equipment
- Assist with the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials
- Support a safe work environment and follow all applicable health and safety procedures




- Answer telephones and assist with routine inquiries when required
- Provide support to other areas of the dealership as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Shop Foreman or Service Manager

What You Bring

- A reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office is an asset
- Ability to safely lift and move items weighing 50 lbs or more
- Previous automotive, dealership, maintenance, or shop experience is an asset
