Working closely with brokers, claims professionals, pricing analysts, risk consultants, and underwriting leaders, you'll make informed underwriting decisions, build strong business relationships, and provide technical expertise that supports exceptional customer outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and underwrite complex commercial and personal insurance risks.Evaluate new business submissions, renewals, endorsements, and referrals.Determine appropriate coverage, policy terms, limits, deductibles, and premium pricing.Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and business partners.Manage a profitable underwriting portfolio while achieving growth and profitability objectives.Review risk information and make sound underwriting decisions in line with company guidelines.Ensure compliance with underwriting policies, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.Provide technical guidance and mentor junior underwriters.Collaborate with claims, actuarial, pricing, risk engineering,
