It sits at the intersection of IT, office experience, and people operations. The person who thrives here will be as comfortable onboarding a current hire as they are resolving a ticket or rethinking how a conference room is set up.You will be the primary contact for technology and workplace needs across our Toronto office. Day to day, that means resolving IT issues quickly and thoughtfully, keeping our office environment running well, and advocating for a great employee experience from the moment someone walks in the door to the moment they log off.You will work closely with teams across the organization including IT, HR, and Operations, and you will have real ownership over how we show up for our people every day.What You'll DoIT SupportServe as the primary Tier 1 and Tier 2 support contact for hardware, software, and SaaS toolsManage and triage the helpdesk ticketing queue with clear prioritization and fast resolutionAdminister Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Okta for user provisioning and offboardingMaintain IT asset inventory, device lifecycle management, and equipment procurementTroubleshoot endpoints across macOS and Windows environmentsEscalate complex issues to managed service partners and follow through to resolutionWorkplace ExperienceOwn the physical office environment: AV setup, meeting room readiness, and day‐to‐day facilities coordinationManage vendor and contractor relationships for office and IT needsCoordinate office supply, hardware, and equipment orders with an eye on cost and efficiencyMaintain a welcoming, organized space that reflects Banyan's cultureSupport logistics for team events, offsites,



and visiting portfolio company staffEmployee ExperienceBe the go‐to person for recent employees on their first day and beyondDesign and run onboarding and offboarding workflows that make people feel supported from day oneCreate self‐serve resources, SOPs, and how‐to guides so the team can move fasterGather feedback on IT and workplace pain points and proactively bring solutions forwardChampion tool adoption across collaboration platforms like Slack and Google WorkspacePartner with HR and Operations to align the workplace with employee needsSecurity & ComplianceEnforce IT access control policies including SSO, MFA, and least‐privilege provisioningSupport security awareness efforts and respond to basic incident triageMaintain accurate documentation for audits, vendor reviews, and compliance programsKeep software licensing, MDM, and endpoint protection current and well‐documentedFlag risks proactively and contribute to policy updates as the business growsWhat You Bring2-4 years in an IT support, helpdesk, or workplace operations roleHands‐on experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 administrationComfortable with Slack workspace management and Zoom configurationExperience with identity and access tools such as Okta or JumpCloudFamiliarity with MDM platforms like Jamf or IntuneSolid grasp of onboarding and offboarding workflows end to endA service mindset: you treat every request as a chance to make someone's day easierStrong written communication across both technical docs and casual messagesComfort with ambiguity and a bias toward taking ownershipNice to HaveExperience with ticketing platforms such as SolarWinds ITSM or ZendeskExperience supporting a distributed or multi‐entity organizationCuriosity about AI productivity tools and how they change the way people workCompTIA A+, Google IT Support Certificate, or similar credentialsReal Ownership.
