Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient service
- Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity
- Support food preparation and food handling processes following strict sanitation and food safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and sanitation zones to uphold health standards
- Assist with upselling menu items to boost sales and improve guest satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and smooth restaurant flow
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with strong guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Experience in food preparation, serving, and kitchen operations is highly desirable
- Demonstrated hospitality mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Capable of multitasking while maintaining attention to detail during high-volume periods
