JR Toy is expanding and is excited to be opening a new location in Oakville! We are looking for personable, professional, and customer-focused Retail Associates to join our team. We have both full-time and part-time positions available, with positions beginning October 10th.

Responsibilities

As a Retail Associate, you’ll help create a fun, welcoming, and enjoyable shopping experience for children, families, and customers of all ages. Responsibilities include:

- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service.
- Help customers find toys, games, and products that fit their needs.
- Process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately.
- Operate the cash register and handle payments.
- Stock, organize, price, and face merchandise to keep the store looking great.
- Receive shipments and assist with inventory and warehouse duties.
- Pick, pack, and prepare online and customer orders for shipment.
- Keep the sales floor, stock room, and store clean and organized.
- Assist with displays, merchandising, and maintaining a fun and inviting store workplace.




- Work as part of a team to support daily store operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a busy retail environment.
- Comfortable learning about a variety of products and providing knowledgeable assistance to customers.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset, but not required.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise and assist with warehouse duties as required.

Schedule & Availability

Candidates must have open availability and be willing to work a flexible retail schedule.

We are currently looking for:

- 1 Full time Retail Associate – primarily weekday availability
- 2 Part-Time Retail Associates – primarily weekend availability

Store Hours:

- Monday–Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Store hours and schedules may be subject to change based on business needs.
