What The Position Is:

- Join our team in a dynamic and unique hybrid role! You will spend your time split between crafting beautiful jewelry as well as assisting customers on our retail boutique. This is the perfect position for a creative maker who loves interacting with people and sharing their passion for working with their hands.

Responsibilities:

- Engage and connect with MAJ customers in person, DMs, and phone calls.
- Understand and assess customer needs to ensure a personalized and gratifying interaction.
- Foster enduring relationships and build trust with customers through open, interactive, and clear communication that aligns with the MAJ brand voice.
- Adhere to MAJ procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.
- Embrace innovation and stay updated with industry trends to enhance our customers’ experiences continuously.
- Jewelry assembly, Use pliers, tools, and basic fabrication techniques to build pieces.
- Maintain quality control Inspect finished designs for flaws, structural strength, and clean finishes.

Requirements:

- Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service-oriented role.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a jewelry production role.
- Strong communication skills, approachable with clients & passionate about jewelry and customer service.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, with the aptitude to handle customer complaints and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism.
- Experience with Shopify, Gorgias, and/or Lightspeed is a plus!
- Jewelry retail experience is an asset
- Must have open and flexible weekday availability between the hours of 10:30-6:30pm
