Tesla’s Optimus team is looking for a Robotics Manufacturing Engineer. This role helps drive the development, installation,

In this position you’ll manage the whole equipment lifecycle, push manufacturing efficiency forward, and support automation plans. You keep production quality solid, all while working closely with engineering, design, and production groups. Responsibilities

Design, define, obtain, and commission manufacturing equipment for gearbox production. Set up, connect, and validate manufacturing and assembly equipment for full production use. Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) , yield, and throughput performance. Create preventive and predictive maintenance programs, like you do not just react after failure, but try to catch issues earlier. Build tooling, fixtures, and mistake proofing systems, you know poka-yoke kinda stuff, so the wrong setup becomes hard, or even impossible. Requirements

Comfortable around CNC machines, servo and hydraulic presses, robotics, sensors, and automation systems in general. Knowledge of manufacturing process validation, plus SPC, PFMEA, and control plans. Robust analytical thinking, really good troubleshooting ability, clear communication, and project management, not just technical thinking but keeping things moving.
