Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health & Substance Use Registered Nurse (RN) to support individuals facing mental health challenges and substance‑use‑related concerns. This role requires a solid clinical foundation, trauma‑informed care approach, and the ability to work effectively with vulnerable populations in both structured and fast‑paced environments.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, sound clinical judgment, strong assessment abilities, and a commitment to delivering safe, patient‑centered mental health care.

Pay Rate Range: 52–60 CAD/hr (Depending on experience)

What We Offer:

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide evidence‑based nursing interventions for patients experiencing psychiatric crises, withdrawal symptoms, or substance‑use‑related conditions.
- Support harm‑reduction strategies, crisis stabilization, and safe medication administration.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, addiction specialists, and community partners to support continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in alignment with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and dignity at all times.

Requirements:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Experience in Mental Health, Psychiatric Nursing, or Substance Use Services highly preferred.




- Strong crisis‑intervention abilities and trauma‑informed practice skills.
- Excellent communication, de‑escalation, and therapeutic engagement abilities.
- Commitment to patient‑centered care and collaborative practice.
