Role Description The HVAC Estimator is a full-time, in office role based in Etobicoke, ON. This role involves prepare accurate material, labor, and equipment estimates for HVAC installations and retrofits. The estimator will analyze project requirements, perform take-offs for HVAC and piping systems, request and compare vendor and subcontractor quotes, and develop detailed bid proposals within specified deadlines. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, engineers, and field teams, updating cost databases,



tracking Estimate status, and assisting with budgeting and cost control for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess HVAC knowledge, including system components, installation methods, and industry standards.
• Candidates should possess project management and budgeting skills to develop accurate estimates, schedules, and cost projections.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Relevant experience in mechanical contracting, construction estimating, or HVAC field work is highly beneficial.
• A technical diploma, trade certification, or degree in mechanical engineering, construction, or a related field is an asset.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
