Join us.Business Intelligence Manager - CruiseIntroduction to the teamTravel Partnerships and Advertising helps partners, including hotels, airlines, destination marketing organizations (DMOs) and more, deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences. We drive growth for our partners and the Expedia Group marketplace through competitive supply, our leading advertising and travel media network and affiliate solutions.We’re seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to join the Cruise Team in the Vancouver, BC. You will be the primary point of contact for all analytics needs as they relate to the Cruise line of business (LOB) and MS Power BI.You will develop new and creative business intelligence solutions for both our Corporate Cruise Team as well as our network of Expedia Cruises Franchisees, Managers, Vacation Consultants. You will maintain and enhance the current suite of reports and dashboards. As a key business partner to our leadership team, you’ll play an essential role in the evolution of our BI strategy and capabilities.In this role, you will:Own the MS Power BI and MS Fabric platforms, both from a tool perspective as well as project ownership lensService as the primary contributor for the analytics roadmap,



working closely with Data Engineers on performance and reliabilityBe responsible for all BI-related documentation, communication, and governanceCollaborate with stakeholders across the business – including end users, SMEs, training, and engineering – to produce the best solutions possibleWork with technology teams to bring data to life, from concept to executionConduct research, gather detailed business and technical requirements and support product developmentActively monitor key metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvementsAct as an escalation point for BI or project issuesManage the BI intake process and ensure transparent prioritization and delivery of new requestsExperience and Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science field or related technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience5+ Years of experience in the BI spaceWorking experience with MS Power BIWorking experience in SQL and scripting languages (Python, etc.)Working experience in data pipelines, table structures and writing efficient queriesExperience with large datasetsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate cross-functionally,

Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $193,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
