Key Responsibilities

Database Administration- Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instance environments.

Monitor database performance| availability| security| and capacity.

Implement and manage HA/DR solutions including Always On Availability Groups| replication| backup| and recovery.

Perform database patching| upgrades| migrations| and maintenance activities.

Troubleshoot production issues related to performance| locking| blocking| and connectivity.



Database DevelopmentDesign and develop T-SQL objects including Stored Procedures| Functions| Views| and Triggers.Optimize SQL queries| indexing strategies| and execution plans.Develop and support ETL processes using SSIS and Azure Data Factory (ADF).

7+ years of SQL Server DBA and Database Development experience.

Strong expertise in: oAzure SQL Managed Instance (SQL MI)| T-SQL Programming

oDatabase Security & Monitoring

2+ years of Java and Spring Boot development experience.

Experience with REST APIs and Microservices.

Exposure to Azure DevOps| Git| and CI/CD pipelines.

Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred SkillsExperience with Azure cloud services and database migrations.

Knowledge of Power BI| Databricks| or Synapse.

PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
