Sales Representative – BRP & John Deere Turf Equipment

We are currently looking for a friendly, motivated John Deere and BRP Sales Representative to join our Summerside, PEI team.

Compensation is a base salary supplemented by commission.

Purpose

Sells new and used BRP powersports equipment, and new and used John Deere turf equipment to new and existing customers.

Responsibilities

Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area

Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially salable by the dealership

Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly

Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management

Knows and follows a defined sales process

Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events

Conducts new equipment field demonstrations

Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management





Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods

Attends applicable sales training events/seminars

Working with Parts and Service departments, recommends and encourages the sale of parts and service products

Ensures exceptional client experience

Commitment to the Green Diamond, BRP, and John Deere brand

Requirements

1 – 2 years sales experience preferred

High School diploma

Knowledge of agricultural equipment, turf equipment, or farming and operational practices an asset

Knowledge of BRP (Bombardier Recreational) equipment an asset

Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions required

Ability to work flexible hours

Excellent customer relationship skills

Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports

Salary Range: $40,000/year – $65,000/year The compensation range reflects expected earnings (base salary + commission), top performers may earn more through the commission structure.
