Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal throughout the facility
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break areas, hallways, and common spaces with attention to detail
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively to ensure optimal results
- Follow established sanitation procedures and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to the appropriate personnel
- Assist in deep cleaning projects and special sanitation tasks as scheduled or needed
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and stored properly for efficient operations
Skills
- Prior custodial experience or background in commercial cleaning preferred
- Solid knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and safety protocols
- Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment with precision and care
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough sanitation of all areas
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment
- Reliable work ethic with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards
