The School District
No. 60 is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee the School Meals Program. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and consists of working three days a week, from Tuesday to Thursday.
Your responsibilities will include preparing healthy meals in alignment with the Canadian Food Guide and managing student meal lists, ensuring compliance with Food Protected requirements and allergy considerations. Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase groceries efficiently based on program needs
- Compile and manage monthly student meal lists
- Prepare food following Food Safe standards
- Assemble and deliver lunches to classrooms
- Administer records and handle collected funds Requirements:
- Grade 10 or equivalent education
- Valid Food Safe Certificate
- Class 5 Driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Experience in a related role is an asset
- Ability to work independently with strong interpersonal skills Become a vital part of the School Meals Program, ensuring students receive nutritious meals across the District.
