Overview

In this vital role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections of semi-trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and hydraulic components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and industrial machinery to execute repairs efficiently
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery safely and accurately
- Read and interpret technical schematics and manuals to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and repair documentation with precision
- Collaborate with team members to ensure repairs meet safety standards and customer expectations
Qualifications
- Previous dealership experience or background in repair is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge across engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and industrial machinery
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a variety of repair scenarios
- Experience working with Caterpillar, Cummins ,volvo , Detroit or similar heavy-duty equipment is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Relevant certifications such as mechanic licenses or specialized training in electrical or HVAC systems are advantageous
