As a Senior Analyst in the Analysis and Financial Reporting team at National Bank, you’ll be acting as an accounting expert in the preparation of consolidated financial reports disclosed externally and internally as well as in the financial analysis of consolidated results. This position is an opportunity to gain an overview of the bank's activities and to create relationships with colleagues from several sectors.
Your role:
- Participate in the production of reports to shareholders, the annual report, as well as the production of supplementary financial information and supplementary regulatory capital and Pillar 3 disclosure.
- Participate in the financial analysis of the bank's consolidated results on a monthly basis.
- Develop ad-hoc analyses at the request of management and/or internal and external auditors.
- Produce regulatory reports for Canadian or foreign authorities while ensuring compliance with established deadlines.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to prepare financial data.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Bank's business lines and subsidiaries.
- Establish partnerships with stakeholders from multiple teams within the Bank (performance management, risk management, capital management, investor relations, etc.).
- Improving processes and evolving our tools.
Your team: As part of the Analysis and Financial Reporting team, you’ll be on a team of 10 of colleagues and you’ll report to the Senior Director.

Prerequisites:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Be rigorous, autonomous and efficient
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change Ability to work under pressure and manage stress well
