- As a Senior Android Developer, you’ll build and own new product features for the Robinhood Wallet Android app

- You will develop reliable and secure solutions to deliver a high-quality trading experience for cryptocurrencies and tokenized stocks, including perpetual futures, to customers worldwide
- In this role, you will take lead responsibility for designing scalable mobile architectures, defining code standards, and maintaining high-quality codebases

- You will collaborate closely with client engineers, backend developers, product designers, and external blockchain partners to deliver secure technical integrations

- Additionally, you will mentor other developers and raise our overall engineering standards through design reviews, architecture discussions, and hands-on technical leadership

- Build intuitive, elegant, and stable mobile experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and contemporary Android APIs

- Lead the full lifecycle of product features — from ideation and technical design to implementation, testing, and release

- Collaborate closely with product managers, product designers,



backend engineers, and data scientists to create impactful solutions

- Champion mobile development standards and code review processes that ensure high quality, scalability, and maintainability

- Mentor other developers and help elevate team standards and collaboration- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a product-focused perspective

- 5+ years of professional experience developing Android applications

- Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java, and a strong grasp of Android SDK and architecture patterns like MVVM

- Experience using Jetpack Compose, Coroutines & Flow or RxJava, and libraries such as Retrofit and Room

- Demonstrated ability to mentor peers, lead complex projects, and influence architecture decisions

- Experience working for a DeFi protocol, a crypto wallet company, or another blockchain-related company

- Familiarity with technologies like EVM blockchains and smart contracts
