This full time, long-assignment role involves hands-on patient care based on individual needs. Essential skills include effective communication and assisting patients with daily living activities. You will also play a critical role in educating patients and their families, aligning with established care plans.
Key Responsibilities: • Deliver direct, hands-on patient care as directed • Support activities of daily living for patients • Assist with family education according to care guidelines • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team • Communicate effectively with patients and staff
Requirements: • Completion of Continuing Care Assistant Program • Provincial Certification with the CCA Registry • Current Basic Life Support Certification • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Additional language skills preferred, especially French
