Job Type : Full-time, Fixed term contractContract length : 11 months, renewable yearlyJob SummaryWe’re looking for an amazing person with a combination of teaching and behaviour management experience to lead a classroom of neurodiverse adults with intellectual challenges. You would be responsible for teaching our curriculum which includes language, literacy and numeracy, independent living skills, social skills, health & leisure and career prep. You would provide teaching, coaching and support to a small group of young adults in the classroom, workplace, and community, under the direction of the Program Manager.Hours of work are 8:45 - 5:15 daily. We close for two weeks for Winter holidays, 1 week for March Break and 3 weeks in the summer. The contract is for an 11 month term, which is renewable yearly.
