Description The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced

Personal Lines Broker

to take ownership of an established personal insurance portfolio of approximately $1 million. This opportunity is well suited to a broker who enjoys managing client relationships, providing strong ongoing service, and working with a high degree of independence.

The primary focus of the position is servicing, retaining, and maintaining the existing book rather than actively prospecting for new business. New quote opportunities will come directly into the brokerage, and the successful candidate will be expected to confidently manage those opportunities as they arise.

This is an excellent fit for an experienced brokerage professional who can become productive quickly, take ownership of their accounts, and provide clients with responsive, knowledgeable service.

Our client is an established insurance brokerage with an experienced personal lines team and a collaborative working environment. Brokers are trusted to independently manage their own portfolios while supporting one another with account coverage during vacations and other absences.

About You

You are an experienced personal lines insurance professional who is comfortable independently managing an established portfolio. You understand the brokerage environment, enjoy building long-term client relationships, and take pride in providing consistent, responsive service.

You are organized, self-directed,



and confident managing day-to-day account activity as well as inbound current business opportunities. You work well independently while also contributing to a supportive and collaborative team.

Necessary Qualifications Include

Solid personal lines insurance experience

Previous insurance brokerage experience

Experience independently managing and servicing a personal lines portfolio

Strong client relationship and customer service skills

Confidence handling inbound new business quotes

Strong organizational and account management skills

Self-directed approach with the ability to work independently

Ability to contribute positively within a team-oriented team environment

Ability to transition into an established book with limited training
