- Assist the Managing Director, Credit Structuring with structuring and underwriting ABL transactions across recent and existing client relationships, including growth financings, M&A-related; facilities, and refinancing
- Provide expert guidance on credit structuring, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance across diverse industries
- Serve as a subject matter expert on ABL credit policy, documentation standards, and emerging risk considerations
- Exercise sound credit judgment and elevate matters in alignment with delegated authorities and governance frameworks
- Own ongoing credit quality and risk management of an assigned ABL portfolio
- Advise senior leadership on portfolio optimization and business planning
- Drive operational excellence through process innovation, analytics, and continuous improvement
- Monitor portfolio KPIs and ensure action plans address out-of-compliance items
- Direct annual reviews, interim reviews, quarterly/monthly monitoring, and resolution of covenant, reporting, and borrowing base exceptions
- Collaborate with Credit Partners as a Credit Leader with elevated discretionary authority
- Manage and mentor team members and support development and performance management
- Onboard new team members through knowledge sharing, integration, and hands-on guidance
- Champion a client-first approach and resolve complex issues while identifying relationship opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align credit solution delivery with enterprise strategy
- Identify issues, gaps, and process improvements with stakeholders
- Represent the Commercial Bank in internal and external regulatory and industry forums




- Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives and broader strategic priorities Requirements - Minimum 8+ years of experience in commercial banking, credit structuring, or related financial services
- Previous experience in an asset-based lending role would be an asset
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Credit qualified, with deep expertise in credit principles, structuring, and risk management
- Proven technical leadership and recognized as a seasoned expert in the industry
