This is a 8 month contract role with permanent potential

Role: The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the company’s financial reporting, technical accounting, and business decision-making processes. This role requires deep expertise in IFRS. The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance on complex accounting matters, lead components of the month-end and year-end close, and support the integration of acquired entities.

About the Opportunity

Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting

- Lead the interpretation and application of IFRS, including contract reviews, revenue recognition assessments, and preparation of technical memos.
- Manage the company’s IFRS lease accounting, including identification, classification, measurement, and modification of lease agreements.
- Support acquisition accounting under IFRS, including purchase price allocations (PPA), valuation of acquired assets and liabilities, and post-acquisition adjustments.
- Prepare and review complex journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis related to revenue, leases, and acquisitions.
- Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements and disclosures related to IFRS 15, IFRS 16, and business combinations.




- Maintain solid internal controls and ensure compliance with IFRS and corporate policies.

Financial Planning & Analysis

- Provide analytical support for revenue forecasting, lease cost projections, and acquisition performance tracking.
- Analyze financial trends, key performance indicators (KPIs), and variance drivers to support strategic planning and management reporting.
- Prepare presentations and financial insights for senior leadership.

About You

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA or equivalent designation preferred.
- 5–8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally with exposure to multinational environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience in acquisition accounting, due diligence, and PPA processes.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP and financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Power BI) is an asset.
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
