Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Systems Consultant for a 12-month contract Key Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Microsoft Excel financial models, reports, and analysis.

- Create and maintain VBA macros to automate repetitive processes and efficiently manage complex and large datasets.
- Use Advanced Excel functions, formulas, pivot tables, data models, and other tools to analyze and report financial information.
- Develop and maintain Power Query processes and data connections to extract, transform, consolidate, and prepare data for reporting.
- Work with large data files and develop efficient solutions to consolidate, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources.
- Create, run, and maintain financial reports using OneStream.
- Support the development and optimization of OneStream reporting and financial data processes.
- Work with SAP and S/4HANA systems to extract, analyze, reconcile, and report financial information.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide management with meaningful financial and operational insights.
- Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Prepare and analyze financial information related to the Profit & Loss (P&L;), Balance Sheet, and other financial statements.
- Investigate data discrepancies and perform financial reconciliations as required.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve reporting efficiency.
- Document reporting processes, procedures, and system solutions.
- Prepare presentations and management reporting using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Prepare, format, and maintain documentation and reports using Microsoft Word.
- Work collaboratively with Finance, Accounting, IT,



and other business teams on reporting and data-related projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills - Strong background in Accounting and Finance, with a good understanding of:

- Profit & Loss statements - Balance Sheets - Financial reporting - Account reconciliation - Financial data analysis - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Robust VBA programming skills, with the ability to create macros and automate complex processes.
- Advanced knowledge of Power Query and data connections.
- Experience working with OneStream, including running and creating reports.
- Experience with SAP and S/4HANA.
- Strong Power BI skills, including dashboard and report development.
- Ability to work with and consolidate large data files and datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear and useful reporting for business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications - Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, financial systems, data analysis, or a related role.
- Experience working in a corporate Finance or Accounting environment.
- Experience automating financial reporting and accounting processes.
- Experience integrating data from multiple financial systems and sources.
- Experience developing management dashboards and financial reporting solutions Pay Rate $50.00/Hour You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
