- The Senior FP&A; Analyst owns Behavox’s core financial model — its architecture, the accounting beneath it, and the forecasts and analysis the company plans and decides by
- The role exists to change decisions, not report them: it turns the numbers into the choices leadership actually faces
- It reads and integrates budgets into the model, but does not run the budgeting cycle
- The same analyst builds the valuations, scenarios, and pro-forma models behind every acquisition — evaluating targets, running diligence, and folding closed deals into a single consolidated view
- This work is periodic and must be carried alone when it arrives; the steady state is the operating model and SaaS forecasting
- This is a high-autonomy role that works without a detailed brief and sets the modeling standard others build on
- It is accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the numbers, and for turning them into recommendations sharp enough to act on — the downside case included, not just the point estimate — for senior leadership, the board, and investors
- It pressure-tests the assumptions behind every result, works fluently with modern tooling and AI, and compounds that edge by learning relentlessly
- Its influence comes from the rigor and reach of the analysis, not from authority: it owns the model and the truth it tells, not the decisions made from it
- Financial Model Ownership — Builds and maintains the core three-statement and operating model using robust architecture, accounting logic, scenario and sensitivity layers, and integrated budgets,
owning the accuracy of every output and the integrity of every assumption to provide reliable forecasts and analysis for company planning and decision-making
- Acquisition Modeling & Integration — Builds valuations, scenarios, and pro-forma combined-entity models by independently evaluating targets, supporting due diligence, and consolidating closed deals to provide a complete financial view of acquisition implications and the combined business
- Business-Review Reporting — Drives the financial substance of monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with the broader FP&A; team by translating model outputs and performance drivers into a clear narrative that enables senior management, the board, and investors to understand results and their implications
- Metrics Analysis & Business Partnering — Diagnoses financial and SaaS metric movements by identifying operating drivers, pressure-testing assumptions, and modeling relevant levers and downside cases to give decision-makers evidence-based recommendations they can act on
- AI-Enabled Productivity — Applies AI and spreadsheet automation to recurring financial workflows by automating appropriate work and strengthening data validation while retaining judgment over what remains manual to reduce cycle time without compromising financial integrity
