We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with extensive experience in software design and development within the telecommunications domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java-based systems, Cloud architecture, and provisioning/activation systems for wireless networks.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Lead design documentation and impact analysis using tools such as Jira, LucidCharts, Confluence, Visio, and MS Office Suite.
- Support the design and development of telecom OSS capabilities for wireless provisioning and activation systems (Spectrum Mobile).
- Work on Cloud-based architecture leveraging AWS EKS Fargate, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, CloudWatch, and related services.
- Engage in Agile development practices and participate in sprint planning and reviews.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders; experience in executive reporting is a solid plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in software development using Java.
- 8–10 years of experience in system design and documentation.
- 8+ years of experience with telecom technologies including WiFi, 4G-LTE, and 5G, with understanding of 3GPP specifications.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud system architecture and development (AWS preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in Agile software development.
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
