We are looking for a Seafood Clerk to join our team!The focus of this role is managing freshsupplies, preparing orders for customers, ensuring a pleasant environment,checking items for continued freshness, maintaining the premises in hygienicconditions, and contributing to customer satisfaction.

This role is responsible for ensuring we always deliverthe highest standards of quality seafood for our customers. Our Seafood Clerksplay an important role in teaching customers about the various seafood options,how to prepare them, and the best cooking methods for optimal taste. Fulltraining is provided for this position.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Assist customers with seafood selectionincluding, cutting, cleaning, and preparing seafood to customer specifications
- Package, weigh, and price customer orders
- Provide customers with information aboutdifferent types of seafood, cooking methods, and preparation techniques
- Maintain display cases to health and safetystandards with proper product rotation
- Ensure the store isclean, safe and ready for shoppers
- Rotation, loading andunloading of seafood department product
- Stock and replaceproducts to avoid any damages
- Backroom and inventorymanagement
- Assist the department with regular inventory count
- Assist with other departmental functions whichinclude but are not limited to rotating, stocking, cleaning and maintaining theappearance and organization of the store
- Performsother related duties as assigned

- Excellent organizational skills and attention todetail.




- Excellent time management skills with a provenability to meet deadlines
- Availableto work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstandrepetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds at times
- Able to work in the walk-in freezer and coolerfor extended periods of time
