The Community Counselling Centre of Nipissing is seeking a Clinical Therapist. In this full time role, you will provide counseling support services to individuals, couples, youth, and families, focusing on mental health and addiction issues. You will collaborate with internal teams, apply trauma-informed practices, and contribute to community initiatives aimed at enhancing awareness and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
• Deliver psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families




• Facilitate group workshops and counseling sessions
• Manage crisis situations with appropriate interventions
• Advocate for clients and refer them to necessary resources
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, or related field
• Registered with a relevant Ontario regulatory body
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Bilingualism (English/French) preferred
• Valid Ontario driver's license and vehicle access
