You will lead the development and execution of the strategic roadmap for risk governance within the Credit and Fraud Management Data Science and AI(DSA) team, including development and maintenance of Processing Risk Activity Assessments(PARA), Privacy Risk Assessment(PRA), Data Risk Assessment(DRA), Risk Triage Assessment(RTA), Supplier Risk Management Assessment(SRMA) and recent risk activities that evolve. You will identify and document risks and mitigating controls and be the primary liaison between Fraud DSA and the larger Privacy and Risk communities within RBC. You will represent Fraud DSA at Risk and Privacy Forums and present risk use cases to a wide audience.

You will maintain awareness of privacy and risk initiatives enterprise-wide, share information on changes in risk policies and procedures, establish and maintain connections throughout the RBC Risk and Privacy community, understand team structures and best practices. You will lead Risk and Privacy engagements and liaise with partners throughout Credit and Fraud Management(CFM), PB&CB; Data Management Office(DMO), Operational Risk, Group Risk Management, Third Party Risk Management and Data and Privacy Risk Management, and collaborate with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority. Develop and execute Fraud Management’s Risk Governance Strategy, understand the needs of the Fraud Data Science and AI or DSA team and plan and prioritize a roadmap for future risk activities Lead the development of PARA, PRA, DRA for DSA, take ownership over critical third-party engagements including SRMAs and lead DSA through emerging risk forums such as SafeAI Lead the design and framework execution of Risk Management policies and procedures, maintain knowledge of policies and procedures related to Risk Management, including RTA, PRA, PARA,



DRA Demonstrate proficiency in writing and translating technical requirements into appropriate risk language and develop and maintain relationships with partners in Risk Operations Identify where risk exists within critical DSA processes, and develop risk management playbooks Interface with a variety of organization roles in the line of business they represent, negotiate needs and find compromises between internal objectives, user/customer needs and financial objectives Manage or reset stakeholder expectations when required, negotiate priorities between competing stakeholder interests and collaborate to ensure the highest value deliverables are completed 5+ years’ experience in data analytics, reporting, MIS or similar roles, working with large, real-world datasets ~ Experience working in Agile environments ~ Experience with Change Management principles ~ Knowledge of and practical experience working with risk frameworks ~ Exceptional time management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously ~ Strong knowledge of Fraud products and Fraud-related applications ~ Understand technical concepts Familiarity with User Experience We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
