Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner with strong healthcare domain expertise and exposure to Salesforce to lead the delivery of digital products and business capabilities. This individual will translate complex business needs into a clear product roadmap, prioritize the backlog, and partner with business, technology, and operational teams to deliver measurable value.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on Agile delivery experience and can confidently engage senior stakeholders in a complex, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and prioritize the product backlog, aligning delivery with business objectives, user needs, and the product roadmap.
- Partner with healthcare stakeholders to understand workflows, identify opportunities, and define product requirements.
- Translate business needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and clearly defined business rules.
- Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, developers, architects, and integration teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Lead backlog refinement and support sprint planning, sprint reviews, and release planning.
- Make prioritization and scope decisions, balancing business value, technical dependencies, delivery risks, and team capacity.
- Work with engineering and QA teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and coordinate user acceptance testing.
- Ensure product requirements address applicable healthcare privacy, security, and regulatory obligations, such as HIPAA for U.S.-based operations.
- Define and monitor success metrics,



including adoption, user satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Communicate roadmap updates, delivery progress, risks, and trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
- Mentor junior product owners or business analysts and promote effective product delivery practices.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of relevant experience, including significant experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable product delivery role.
- Demonstrated healthcare domain experience within a payer, provider, health technology, or related organization.
- Strong understanding of one or more healthcare workflows, such as patient/member engagement, care management, provider operations, enrollment, perks, or claims.
- Exposure to Salesforce through product delivery, requirements gathering, process improvement, or implementation initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage a product backlog and deliver complex initiatives using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience writing actionable user stories and acceptance criteria and coordinating UAT.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and influence cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud , Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and healthcare integrations, including HL7 or FHIR.
- Experience delivering products involving sensitive healthcare data and regulated workflows.
- Product ownership or Agile certifications, such as CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe POPM.
- Salesforce certifications or relevant platform training.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale initiatives involving multiple teams and external vendors.
