Reporting to the Director of Creative & Production, the Senior Production Manager oversees all operations and resources for the creative development and video production of advertising and promotional campaigns aligned with the strategic objectives of the Marketing & Communications division.
Manage a team of approximately 30 staff members across creative direction, design, project co-ordination and digital content creation. Collaborate closely with creative leads across the Audio, Entertainment and News units, as well as the Design Studio manager. Ensure seamless execution and consistency across all stages of project development.
Manage performance and career development of staff under your supervision. Oversee project assignments and resource allocation in collaboration with key team members. This is a hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote work.
Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines. In-depth knowledge of radio, TV and digital advertising creative and production workflows (ideally in promo production). Technical familiarity with the Radio-Canada post-production setting a strong asset.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field.
Five (5) to (7) seven years’ experience managing or supervising creative or advertising teams. Eight (8) to ten (10) years’ experience in advertising and communications, including both creative direction and video production.
Understanding of key production roles, including copywriters, directors, editors, sound mixers, designers and social media content creators. Familiarity with all production and post-production phases. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven leadership with creative teams. Strong planning skills. Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing. As part of our recruitment process, candidates who advance to the next step will be asked to complete a background check.
