Project Manager/Leader - Senior

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with a strong technical background in ServiceNow , a solid understanding of financial systems within the public sector , and experience managing offshore project teams . This role will focus on delivering complex IT projects that enhance service delivery and financial operations for public sector clients in Ontario.

Location: Hybrid – up to 3 days a week onsite

Must Haves:

· 5+ years’ project management experience in IT, preferably in the public sector

· 5+ year’s proven experience with ServiceNow implementation or enhancement projects

· Knowledge of public sector financial systems, budgeting, and reporting processes in Ontario or other Canadian jurisdictions

· Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end project management for IT initiatives involving ServiceNow implementations, integrations, and enhancements.
- Manage financial systems projects aligned with Ontario public sector policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore delivery centers.




- Oversee and coordinate the work of offshore development and support teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Monitor project risks and issues; implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and public sector clients through status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with Ontario government standards, procurement rules, and data privacy regulations.

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of project management experience in IT, preferably in the public sector .
- Proven experience with ServiceNow implementation or enhancement projects.
- Knowledge of public sector financial systems , budgeting, and reporting processes in Ontario or other Canadian jurisdictions.
- Robust track record of successfully managing offshore development teams .
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- PMP or PRINCE2 Certification.
- ITIL certification, particularly with focus on ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CSM).
- Experience working with Ontario government ministries, agencies, or Crown corporations.
- Knowledge of public procurement processes and vendor management.
