We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and build highly scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for a core banking platform. What You’ll Do - Design and deliver high-quality backend features and enhancements - Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex initiatives - Design scalable distributed systems and microservices - Develop and optimize RESTful APIs - Improve system performance and meet SLAs - Participate in technical design, sprint planning, and code reviews - Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices Must-Have Skills - 5+ years of software development experience - Microservices & distributed systems - Docker / containerization - Strong SQL & MySQL - RDBMS concepts: transactions, isolation levels, locking, deadlocks - RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems - GitHub/Git - Solid communication and collaboration skills Nice to Have - Payroll or Time & Attendance platform integrations - Cloud computing experience
