Job Title: Senior Python Developer

Location: Dallas, TX or Salt Lake City, UT

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Optimize Financial Applications: Design, build, and maintain high-performance Python applications tailored for financial services, including trading platforms, risk management systems, and data analytics tools.

Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with clients, including Brokerage Firm and Client, to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that align with their business goals and compliance standards.

Financial Data Analysis: Utilize Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy to process and analyze large datasets, ensuring accurate financial reporting and real-time data processing.

System Design and Integration: Develop and integrate APIs, build scalable architectures, and ensure system reliability and security in high-frequency trading and other financial applications.

Code Quality and Performance: Write clean, productive, and maintainable code while implementing best practices in software development. Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes.

Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, and optimize system performance to handle high-load scenarios typical in financial environments.





Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep abreast of advancements in financial technology and Python development to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5-8 years of professional experience as a Python Developer, with a strong background in financial services or fintech.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Python and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).

Strong experience with financial systems, trading platforms, or risk management tools.

Expertise in data analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.

Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Experience with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ) and task queues (e.g., Celery) is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.

Soft Skills

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
