Help maintain a secure learning environment as a Student Monitor within Halifax Regional Centre for Education. This role emphasizes supervision and fostering relationships within the school community.
In this vital role, you’ll ensure students are safe and supported both inside and outside the classroom. A calm demeanor and the ability to engage with youth confidently are key. Previous experience working with children and First Aid/CPR certification are advantageous in providing a nurturing workplace for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor student activities inside and outside school premises
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all students
• Support teachers and staff in ensuring student well-being




• Build positive relationships with students across grade levels
• Respond appropriately to any safety concerns or incidents
Requirements:
• Experience working with children or youth
