Join the John Howard Society of Saskatchewan as a full-time Caseworker specializing in restorative justice practices. This role focuses on mediation, community education, and client support.
As a Caseworker, you will provide vital services under the Extrajudicial Sanctions and Alternative Measures program. Your responsibilities include facilitating mediations, building relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring client support throughout the criminal justice process. You will work closely with the Crown Prosecutors and Police while handling documentation and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate victim-offender mediations effectively • Build positive relationships with community agencies • Connect clients with essential support services • Participate in community events to promote programs • Maintain confidentiality of client information
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or 1 year relevant experience • Knowledge of socio-economic issues and restorative justice • Robust communication and case management skills • Valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License • Cleared Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
