Our client, a company operating in the mining sector, is looking for an experienced, organized and collaborative professional to join its team as a Senior Human Resources Advisor at the Kiena Mine.
Tasks
- Take ownership of recruitment activities, from job posting through to the first day of employment for new hires;
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from A to Z;
- Develop recruitment strategies and continuously improve recruitment processes;
- Optimize existing recruitment procedures and workflows;
- Attract top talent for all hiring needs across the mine and its various departments;
- Implement an exceptional candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process;
- Analyze hiring needs by identifying vacancies and defining candidate profiles in collaboration with Human Resources and hiring managers;
- Assess candidates by reviewing resumes and identifying high‑potential talent and future employees;
- Conduct interviews in partnership with hiring managers;
- Source candidates using our ATS (ADP), databases, job boards, social media platforms, and direct outreach methods for hard‑to‑fill positions;
- Participate in the implementation of initiatives aimed at attracting, onboarding, and engaging talent;
- Perform all other related duties as required.

Job requirements
- Be available to work in Val d’Or;
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations, business administration or a related field;
- A relevant university certificate will be considered in combination with several years of significant recruitment experience;
- Have at least 5 years of experience in human resources, ideally in a senior advisory role and in recruitment;
- Have good knowledge of Quebec labour laws;
- Be a member of the CRHA or CRIA, an asset;
- Be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite;
- Knowledge of ADP, an asset;
- Demonstrate strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills;
- Show autonomy, rigour and positive priority management skills.
