As a Senior Relationship Manager , you will serve as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of high-value commercial clients, leveraging your financial expertise, business development skills, and industry insights to identify opportunities, structure complex solutions, and create long-term value. Manage and expand a portfolio of strategic commercial banking clients.

Develop trusted advisor relationships with business owners, executives, and key decision‑makers. Deliver exceptional client experiences by understanding client objectives and recommending tailored financial solutions. Identify and capture share‑of‑wallet opportunities across lending, cash management, treasury, investment, and other banking services.





Drive Business Development

Proactively source new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline of prospective clients. Develop and execute market growth strategies aligned with business objectives. Leverage market intelligence, industry trends, and competitive insights to identify emerging opportunities and accelerate portfolio growth.

Represent the bank at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and generate business opportunities. Structure and negotiate complex credit facilities and banking solutions that meet client needs while balancing risk and profitability. Review lending and cash management agreements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with bank policies.

Conduct sophisticated financial analysis and credit assessments to support sound lending decisions. Collaborate with product specialists, credit partners, risk teams, and senior leaders to deliver complete client solutions. Provide insights and recommendations that contribute to business strategy and portfolio performance.

Deliver Strong Portfolio Performance

Monitor portfolio profitability, risk profile, and return on equity performance. Prepare executive‑level reporting on portfolio performance, market developments, and client trends. Ensure all activities meet regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk management standards. 7+ years of experience in Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, Portfolio Management, or Business Development. ~ Proven success managing complex client relationships and delivering strong sales and revenue results.



~ Experience structuring, negotiating, and executing commercial lending transactions. ~ Strong understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and risk assessment.

Salaries for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on number of hours regularly worked. BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance‑based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
